where has this month gone?! I swear I was just saying this about August, and now the last day of September is tomorrow. Time flies and it really makes me think about how Im using my time and being more goal oriented even in the little things of life. Well on the bright side, tomorrow is pay day!
last couple days have been consumed with worrrrrrrrrrk. not too much more to say about, but when a job needs done sometimes you have to put in those extra hours. Its kinda crazy when you’re younger you cant wait for that salary paid position, expecting the BIG bucks, but it doesn’t take too long for you to figure out that they only call it salary because you’re expected to work more. so with that said, anybody know of any open hourly paid posistions?

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. First I would like to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to the community. When AJ and I started these sites we never thought they would get this big! Also thanks for your patience in dealing with the site hick ups in June/July they have since been resolved.
So as most of you know there is more than just this site in our network. We are building a community of websites that will be linked together. You may have noticed since July 2008, there has been alot of behind the scenes work going on. There is still alot of behind the scene work to do but we would like to have your input as well. Afterall this is your scene! The overall plan is to have our own software based on the best open source applications phpbb, and wordpress. If you didn’t know already AJ and myself are heavily into IT, and welcome any coders that would like to be part of the development team. Before I let myself get to carried away about the new features we have planned for you guys I need to stick to the present.

To kick off the upgrade project we are going to start with Site reOrganization. We have started a thread for you to add your thoughts as to what sections there should be, which ones could be combined, and which ones need to be added. We have created a site to share up coming news regarding the Your Scene Network and also general thoughts, or just see what random thoughts we have. We will also feature the results of the member suggestions. I never thought we would have a blog, but alot of the comments I read from you guys are very entertaining I wanted to see what happens.
Overhaul Phase 1 Part 1
We will be able to provide more detailed information as phase 1 part 1 is near completion. Phase 1Part 1 is just the Site Reorganization, which will include new forums, subforums, and many thread moves. The biggest change to the scene sites will be from upgrading to phpbb3.0, and the installation of Wordpress a content management system. These two applications will serve as the base of our own software after the overhaul project is complete.

well here i sit at work finding myself happy to be here cause i have lights and air conditioning here cause i still dont have power at my house thanks to ike sweeping thru and messing shit up and nocking all my trees down on my property, but we lucked out none hit our house so we are lucky compared to many others south of us around buemont, and port authur,tx and galvston….
everything else seems to be better on Friday. the grass looks greener, the sun is brighter, and work really seems like a “not so bad” place to be. so much in life really depends on the atitude we have. not that externals wont effect you, but if you tell yourself today just seems like its going to be a bad day, then theres a huge chance it will be. but today, take a step back, and let yourself know that today is going to be a great day…who knows what might happen?
the morning commute, ohhhh how i love you. i drive through the east end of pittsburgh everyday to get to work so its not as bad as dahntahn, but it has its woes. mainly because there are 4 construction zones i have to go through!…thats a whole nother conversation in itself. today was an out of the ordinary day though, somehow, someway, i actually made it to work in the actual 40 mins that its supposed to take me. it was one of those days where you approach a stop light and just expect it to turn red by the time your under it, but for some reason they just kept staying green today. so today, rather than slowing down at every instersection, i plan on blazing through ready for the next one.
i came into work today without a lot of energy but not a lot of desire to be in my cube for the day. the energy may have come from the cup of tea i had this morning, and the lack of desire most likely from the very undecorated cube i sit in on a daily basis (3 months here and still nothing decorated yet!). either way it was a really odd feeling but didn’t matter for too long because there was work to be done! you know what kind of work i mean, the kind that you get paid for in your 9-5. now i don’t always feel that everyday because i really do enjoy the work i do, but today was just one of those…blahhh days.
